What's Supported

• The ability to sync hotels into iOrder that are linked via a Property Management System in the Aztec and iZone POS Integration Engine. Opera and HLS have been tested e2e as part of this phase.

• Once Hotels have been synced over, the ability to define which sites and sales areas will be available for charging to PMS

• For this initial phase we are only supporting one Hotel or PMS instance per site although the sales areas this is available to can be altered

• New API endpoint getHotels providing details of whether or not a Hotel is available for charging at a given sales area

• New API endpoint, getHotelRoomFolios, allowing users of the iOrder API to search for folios on the PMS using the Name/Room number combination the Guest has provided. This is limited to a number of search attempts which can be configured in the platform

• New API endpoint, makeChargeToRoom, providing the ability to charge the whole basket to a folio on a connected Property Management System in the Aztec and iZone POS Integration Engine (HLS and Opera have been tested as part of this delivery.) Split payment by Hotel charging and bank card is not supported in this phase although a basket can have Loyalty or Vouchers alongside a Hotel charge

• Hotel charging is only supported for signed in users only

• Style keys which allow you to customise the phrasing around Hotel or Room charging
